The Test of Problem Solving 2 – Adolescent (TOPS-2-Adolescent; Bowers, Huisingh, & LoGiudice, 2007) is a diagnostic test of problem solving and critical thinking in verbal and print format for adolescent ages 0–12 through 11–17.

Overview

The TOPS-2-Adolescent addresses these components based on the student’s language strategies using logic and experience. The format includes updated passages and questions that focus on five critical thinking areas: Making Inferences, Determining Solutions, Problem Solving, Interpreting Perspectives, and Transferring Insights.
