Receptive-Expressive Emergent Language Scale-3 (REEL-3)

The Receptive-Expressive Emergent Language Scale-3 (REEL-3; Bzoch, League, & Brown, 2006) is a 132-item checklist that uses reports by parents or caregivers to identify major receptive and expressive language problems in infants and toddlers up to 3 years of age.


The REEL-3 includes two core subtests, Receptive Language and Expressive Language, and a supplementary subtest, Inventory of Vocabulary Words.
